I removed all batteries from my Daniel Dakota Quartz Westminster Chime Mantel Clock when I went on vacation. Came back replaced batteries,not thinking about time,reset time. Now my clock don't chime. When gets to time it makes click sound but no chiming.Other people have tried setting it also so at some point it has probably been turned backwards. Today I replaced batteries. I found an 800# but line is always busy. Hopefully someone can help me,because my daughter gave to me for Christmas,before passed away.

I had the same problem with the chime not working on the mantle clock. This problem appears to be endemic, and, based on the lack of response both from this site and the “manufacturer” and the cost of the clock at only $35 originally, I think the only solution is to throw it out and never buy a Daniel Dakota clock again

I've lost my instructions. I remember there was some deal about moving the hands around to get the clock set up after changing the batteries. I would appreciate the 800 number because I am afraid to insert the batteries and it's just sitting there. Thank you
