how to reset an dimplex xms712n?

Hello i have one dimplex xms712n and doesn't work .that night the red ligt comes on but does not heat at all

There is a reset attached to the thermostat it is not obvious,it is housed in an oblong bit that is part white part red,it is a chrome bit sticking up above the housing,just press it down,if it clicks you've done it
