cannon cooker knobs appear seized or locked?

Have a great old cooker 1940/50s cannon stove enamelled job looks great but the knobs for the ring will not turn how can they be deseized

Normally suited to a museum but if its in exceptional condition, then get a corgi engineer to grease the taps and it'll be like new. Be careful not to force the taps as they are old & may be more brittle than normal. Definately not a diy job
