Vauxhall Corsa 2002 1.7 SXI Diesel - Not ticking over ?

I have a Vauxhall Corsa 2002 1.7 SXI Diesel but when i got to turn this on all the dash lights are registered and come on but there is nothing when i turn the key to start the engine.

Go to your starter,when you turn the key to start you should get 12v at the small wire on the solenoid,if you do then suspect faulty starter,Also make sure your battery connections are good and the battery itself is in good condition
