My JVC KD-S641 cd receiver has developed a problem. I recently needed to remove the unit from the car. When I plugged it back in and returned it to the dash it would not power up. If I push the display button the clock is displayed for approximately 7 seconds, this is the only button that is functioning. I wondered if anybody has experienced this problem and how it was resolved? I'd really appreciate any suggestions.

I have excactly the same problem as yours with my JVC KD S641, but in my case I was driving on a rough road and my CD receiver started to flicker and then went dead. I can only eject and load the CD, but no power to the unit.
