the fan element has gone in my oven and I cant find the serial number anywhere to make sure I get the correct part, what should I do?

with all the power off going to that cooker, take out the bad element. photo the wireing first. , so you know how to put the new one back in, go to a good spare parts store. take the bad element with you, they will give you the right one to put back in, its as easy as that, they will know the right one for your cooker,
