how do i change the knob shaft on my beko cooker?

How do I change the knob shaft on my beko electric cooker, DVC 665, the metal bar behind the knob snapped off, I really need to change it as I've got no grill now.

The shaft is part of the switch so you have to put in a new switch complete. You can't buy just a shaft.
