Dryer drum removal: Maytag SDG4606AWW?

I have a Maytag SDG4606AWW gas dryer. I need to remove the drum and replace several parts. This model isn't set up like most Maytag dryers in which you can unhitch the clips and the top pops up. It seems to have a few extra screws that need to be removed from the top to allow it to pop up.

Here's what I've done: 1. Removed the lower panel. 2. Removed the front lint tray panel and wire connections. 3. Removed the belt from the drum.

But that's as far as I get: I am unable to get the top off, or slide the drum out through the front.

Anyone know how to get the drum comes out of this model, or how to remove the top panel? There are several screws in the top panel and I don't want to start removing everything.

If it's okay to post a link, here are the diagrams to this dryer:

Thanks!
