How can I stop picture breakups?

I have a Humax-Fox T2 recorder. The picture breaks up on more than one channel. The aerial has been checked as OK Have tried tuning manually but no success

If your antenna (aerial) is correctly aligned then you may need an amplifier to drive the three tuners. Your TV has one and the PVR has two.)

The channels that have the problem may be from a distant transmitter and weaker i strength than the channels that do not break up - not all transmitters send out the same group of channels.

Find out which transmitter you are closest to - look to see what channels it sends out.

If your aerial checks out ok it may also be down to the aerial connectors being poorly made.

If some channels are good and others not good then it will not be down to the recorder - just a weak signal.

Good luck..., July 2015
