some emails -ie -from cruise lines (re upcoming cruises etc )
are not coming into gmail
how can i change this?

The "All mail" folder contains absolutely everything, including the content of the Spam folder and the trash.
In the All mail "folder", each message have a tag indicating where it currently reside. Check that tag, it's very informative.

As X said, take a look in the junk/Spam folder.

There are SO MANY unlegitimate, ie. spammy, e-mails about cruises and similar subjects that those probably got intercepted by the Spam filters.

Check in the Gmail junk folder. If they are in there, you can mark as 'not junk'
