Back door key problem. ?

I have a uvpc back door and I am having problems locking it and removing the key. When the door is unlocked I can remove the key with no problem at all. However when I come to lock the door, the door will lock but I can't remove the key. Any help.

Door needs adjusting, it's dropped, the adjusters are on each hinge, move top back and bottom forwards towards lock stile.
