Cigarette lighter not working?

My cigarette lighter won't work on my 2005 Mondeo Titanium. I have changed the fuse, but still not working.

Plug a fag lighter accessory int othe socket and see if that's working. Phone charger. GPS etc. If that's OK and it IS just the element then take it that it is Gods way of telling you to quit smoking.

Roger - consider that it might be the element - the bit that gets hot - take it to another car and see if it works there
