A friend has an old Swan Chrome coffee percolator model CM475 that trips the mains when connected.
The plate that the prongs are attached to seem to be shorted somewhere. I think that the element is OK but don't understand how it works because it was partially dissembled.
Does anyone have something like a schematic or know where to find one?
