how do i reset the service light on a mondeo estate?

the service light has come on i have serviced the car oil brakes water etc etc now i need to turn the light off without taking it to the garage

I have the same problem with my mondeo.
Mine is a Mk1 N reg. Both service light and brake pad light need to be reset.
Any help would be great.

What year? Just needs a few buttons pushing in the right sequence. What type of key? Infra red remote, no remote, 3 button remote?
