how to fix AEG, D8100-1 mE,serial No.40600013?

AEG cooker Model No. D8100-1 mE lower oven turns on but turns off before reaching set temperature. Oven then cools but does not switch on, until oven is cold. Fan operates correctly.
Top oven works perfectly.
