can i connect wires?

The main filter has gone on my rangemaster leisure 110 5331 part is no longer available. So can I remove the wires and connect them together. Grill and hobs work but not ovens

This is part main filter ckr it's a little black box which the main wire from the plug. It has brown and blue wires connected to it.
