I product is seven years old however it became locked and I followed the instructions for unlocking it which did the trick however it locked itself again and when I followed the instructions again it would not unlock. I am now unable to cook. Can you please help.

The instruction manual douse not have the makers name. This hob has a touch control to turn it on and off. All I have managed to find in the manual is European directive 2006/95/EEC of 12 December 2006 and for electromagnetic compatibility as required by European directive 2004/108/EEC of 15 December 2004.
