My Hotpoint FFP 187B is too cold even at lowest temperature setting?
I have a Hotpoint FFP 187b Fridge freezer. The fridge compartment is too cold even with the control turned to almost the turn off point. The Freezer get so cold bags of peas freeze solid. I'm a competent electrician and would guess the thermostat is the problem but how do you access it? It appears that the top of the unit has to be removed and I can see no way to do that. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
