We have a 2011 scenic wipers have a mind of there own start stop don't work had wiper arms off motors turning no problem either side of car, saw a few remarks to l j b autos who seem to have given the answer so could someone put the answer up or send to me please to help the rest of us struggling with this problem

My old Golf had wiper issues - turned out to be the motor coming loose on it's 3 mounting bolts - it wobbled about - sometimes the linkage worked (just) and sometimes the linkage jambed up against itself.

You might inspect the motor's mounting.
