Hi, this is probably a daft question but I am interested, what voltages do piezo sounder run at in bellboxes?. I have installed a bellbox (flashguard) and I am aware of the high voltage strobe, but what about the piezo drive circuit?. I have noticed on the pcb there is a transformer connected to the piezos.my voltage pen light up red when holding against the piezos.

are the piezos high voltage? if so what voltages are they typically?. Besides deafening me can the piezo wires give me shock or even kill me if I were to ever accidentally touch them?.

I know this sounds daft but I am interested in electronics and like to learn new things. cheers

no they wont they run on 12 volts ur very safe mate
