Pcms210l circular saw - can it be repaired?

Power ok but blade stops turning on contact with wood. Motor runs on as if in free wheel after releasing on/off switch. Is it possible / feasible to repair?

I had same problem and as above suggested all I needed to do was tighten the blade - once I had worked out how to get the blade guard off!
