how to fix a err 103?

I have an ariston clas he 24 combi boiler. I drained the system to add a radiator>filled system back up and bled now showing 1.5 bar but my boiler shows the error message 103(insufficient circulation)with the red reset light showing and will not go out when pressed. What can I do.

Well the problem turned out to be electrical (so the works done by me were all good) For some reason the the back of the electrical panel had opened slightly preventing the reset button making contact and operating. Thanks for the advice though.

"insufficient circulation" - what does that mean? The heating water isn't being driven round the circuit quickly enough.

What could cause that?

Pump not running? Check for vibration on the pump. (wooden stick as a stethosocpe?)

Circulation blocked by crud?

Valve(s) shut off when they shouldn't be?

Something changed on the system and the job not done properly? I wonder what that could be. Has any work been done on the system? Oooh yes.

Check, think, check, think
