i put a question in recently asking do i drain the system until i have no pressure showing on the clock gauge and then pump this up through the valve at the top until i get 1 bar pressure on the clock on the boiler

thanks gas aid i did drain water out until pressure clock read 0 when i tried to inflate presure it was registering on the presure clock on boiler does this mean there is still water in system what method should i use to drain boiler

I presume you are talking about the expansion vessel...

You need to drain the boiler and pump the expansion vessel up to 1 Bar... You need to do this with a foot pump with it's own gauge... You do not want the boiler to register anything whilst pumping up the vessel, once at a bar... You then need to reconnect the boiler and fill the system to 1bar as shown by the boiler with water.
