Place battery in charger fan starts beeping noise red and green lights flash then fan stops beeping continues then beeping stops but lights flash red and green is battery still charging?

At the bottom of the panel Red & Green lights are shown flashing
Next to this is a battery icon with a cross next to it
The battery symbol is shown cracked in two
