mac 280 b?

Primer bulb won't pull gas. New bulb, pushes air into tank but won't pull gas. Any ideas?

Consider that the fuel lines have perished and air is being drawn in when you operate the primer bulb - the weight of air is an easier pull than the weight of fuel.
