What is wrong with our boiler? Had several repairs?

Our boiler broke down just 6 months ago where we had it repaired and the switchboard changed. A year before that we spend £300 on a part which I can't remember what was (sorry.) Today it stopped working again, the fan goes on and there is a light on, but it does not ignite. The pressure is on 1.2
Our boiler technician can only come in 3 days and as we have a baby we are desperate to get it fixed so we can have heating and hot water again. Is there anything we can do to try and fix it? Any ideas at all would be most helpful. The model is Biasi Model 24S.

You're not being particularly helpful, given your perceived urgency. "There is a light on" - Red or green? It makes a difference.

Your best hope is to wait for someone COMPETENT and who is GAS SAFE CERTIFIED to look at it.
