How can I repair a smashed de deitrich 3100 hob ?

I have a de dietrich induction 3100 hob. We have dropped something and smashed the glass on the bottom right hand side. Everything seems to be still working but I would like to infill the sharp star shaped hole. Is there a preferred filler ?

Replacement is probably the only sensible option, unless the glass itself is replaceable (check parts suppliers). Do you have accidental cover on your house insurance?
