Panasonic microwave touch pad film covering is coming off at the start and stop/reset pad. Is there anything that can be used to repair it before it deteriorates more? It started with tiny pin- sized bumps in the plastic which I thought was just food residue, but after cleaning with paper towel and vinegar water, it began to peel up even more. This is a NEW microwave, only used a few weeks!

Are you sure this isnt the very thin clear film used to protect the llastic fascia during manufacture & display?

Then you should consider warranty claim - don't mention the vinegar.
