Samsung fridge freezer no digital display?

After a power failure my samsung fridge freezer model RS21DPSM stopped working. Power is getting to it. Lights on but display shows only a dotted line on fridge temperature rest blank. I suspect a fault with the digital control. Does anyone know if there is a reset system for the processor?

Yes great stuff hold left top button power freeze and vacation button together. Bingo it works.Youmay have to unlock child lock to use ice and cold water.just hold vacation and child lock together, you will see a lit lock opened or closed.

hi just to say pressing the top left and top right buttons is just a temporary over ride , which will run ff untill you get a repair .

I have just suffered this problem with my fridge/freezer, the problem was solved by holding the Power Freeze Button and the Vacation Button together for approximately 8 secs. It's working as normal now, fingers crossed

I tried same thing had no luck found out later that the one of the fuses in the circuit board was dead this i found out when we got www.agsrefrigeration.co.uk out which they replace.

Thank you Phil for your advice. I had the same problem after a power cut. However my Samsung Freezer has no Power Cool button so I followed your advice and held down the Power freeze button with the vacation button. After 8 seconds just as you predicted all my missing lights came back on. Fantastic you have saved me £60 call out fees. Isn't the internet fabulous!!

you can hold down the power cool and power freeze button for 8 seconds to reset the fridge freezer, it has gone into test mode for some reason
