The cycle moves but only a small amount of water comes into the machine and nothing is coming through the jets.

Ooops! Quick update - the reason there was not much water coming through is that I had the bath taps on. I was so busy concentrating on the washing machine I flooded my flat causing hundreds of pounds worth of unecessary damage.

Next time I will be less frugal and splash out on a plumber instead.

Sounds like the wash motors gone. Machine does,nt fill up completely until the wash motor starts.
