Our Miele G575 dishwasher element looks good but doesn't always heat up. I don't think the fault is in the element itself. I don'y have a repair (tech) manual so would appreciate any help re what might be failing, eg the thermostat or any other part that can influence the element...?

Broken wire or bad contact on wire. Power board fault i.e. bad contacts on relay for heater or dry solder joint on relay pins.
