repairing the chimes onDaniel dakota mantle clock?

I have a daniel dakota mantle clock with westminster chimes that runs on 3-AA batteries. It keeps time just fine but suddenly the chime has just stopped working altogether. I've tried putting new batteries in it, resetting it and nothing, no chimes. It did work for quite some time. it is the type that shuts off between 6pm and 6 am. I have searched the internet for info on how to fix the chime part, but have come up with nothing.Does anyone know how i can repair/replace the chime? preferably DIY please help
