I took the Sony cd changer out of my car, forgetting to eject the cartridge beforehand, so now I have 10 CD's stuck in it. Is it possible to unload the cartridge without re-powering the CD changer? Or if it needs power, which pins are the power pins, and can I just apply 12 volts across those pins tp power the CD changer unit?

take the negative and positive wires and hook it to the negative and positive on ur battery terminals and it will be hotwired so u can get ur catridge out
