How do you take the front panel off an AEG washer/dryer?

Intergrated machine, have dropped the door back plate into the bottom of the machine and need to get the front panel off to retrieve it

Can't you get at it from underneath by tipping machine back against wall or from the back using a long flexible magnetic pick up tool?
