Reset Miele washing machine ?

My Miele washing machine is in a tight spot. How can I reset it without having to pull it out and tilt it to drain the water which trips the automatic cutout? There must be a way to drain the water in the base other than tilting it...

Surely you need to pull it out to work on it and find out where the water leaked from. Water doesn't just appear in the base for no reason. Fix it once and fix it properly then no further hassles.
