Is the head physically moving slow on the printer or it takes a long time to process the job before printing starts?
If A. Check for ink and dust contamination on the carrier shaft
If B. Check your print quality in the driver, it may be set to "photo" or "best" quality which increases print time dramatically. Otherwise re-install the driver and try printing a simple word doc.
