Can a Samsung ER 4915 be connected to a computer?

I would like to know if an ER 4915 can be connected to a computer for data collection for a retail store, such as individual product sales and volume of product sold? The plan is to make inventory control and bookkeeping easier. If it can be done what is required hardware and software wise to make this happen? Thank you.
