Ford Car CD players 6006 Jammed Error 3,what needs doing?

I have a ford 6006 car cd player double din fitting and all 6 cds are stuck in the unit and when I try to play them it comes up with error code 3.What needs to be done to repair it?

Folks, I have just repaired a 6006E model I got today on eBay, when I powered it up in my mondeo it said error 3. I removed the unit and took off the top cover, A spring tensioned steel plate covers the discs, but it can be lifted up (carefully) and the discs removed from the small space at the front that you have just created, now that the tray is empty you will notice black plastic loading plates, which hold each disc, pull gently up on each of these plates until they are all at the top of the guide shafts that they travel on, you will hear a gentle click as they release from where they are jammed. Replace the top cover, reinsert the screws and connect up the cables, enter the code and Robert is your mothers brother!!! (Bob's your uncle for the young and unworldy).

I'm just adding to the question really, not answering. Same thing has just happened to mine (a 6006) aswell. I'm informed the cause is because I have a non original CD in there. CD-R or CD-RW are slighjtly thicker than originals and cause the mechanism to jam. Ford won't repair trhis under warranty (due to non original disc clause in their audio booklet). I have asked for a quote from a stereo shop who said they won't touch it becused the mechanism is so fragile! So the only option is to take it out and have a go yourself. I'm going to do this at the weekend - so if anybody else has done this I'm also interested in the steps to take. I've been told small watch maker screwdrivers etc and just be very delicate. If you do get it fixed don't use copied CD's......
