My Hoover AAA160 is eating my clothes?

It isn't swallowing them into a black hole (well, actually, it could be!) but it's chewing holes in them. The machine is only a couple of years old, and I'm not overloading it.

Any ideas?

Could possibly need a new door seal.
Machine could be sloping forward.
Damaged inner drum.
Sharp edges around front plate where the door seal is.
