How do I remove the control panel on a Cannon Chichester gas cooker?

How do I remove the control panel on a Cannon Chichester gas cooker? - I took off all the knobs and retaining screws but couldn't release the trim bar along the top, it looks like it might just snap out but as it's not my cooker I was reluctant to force it.

Bit late but you have to take the side panels off and then the aluminium rails that run along the top from front to back. This releases the sides so it just comes away.
