how do I stop my pc from dumping memory?

My pc is running windows xp and seems to always at ramdom times just stops working and says it is dumping memory.
How can I stop this?
Please help me...

Right click on My Computer and click on Properties. Go over to the Advanced tab and click on Startup and Recovery. Here you should find some setting to control that memory dump issue. As for why windows keeps dumping it, we need more detail about the error message that is accompanying it.
