I plug the box in, and I can access the menu page and choose from the menu, but when i choose to watch a channel the only thing that comes up is a little red box, anyone any ideas????
Hi, I have connected via scart and the menu appears onscreen, I have tried scanning for programmes, it keeps saying none found, also, it asks for the parental code, to this i have no idea.

Actually I asked how you connected it but let's assume that it is with a SCART cable. As you can see the menu, then the box is talking to your TV set.
Did you do the following: Connect your existing aerial cable to the Set Top Box then, using the supplied aerial cable, connect the Set top box to your TV?
When that is done you need to 'scan' for channels - which is why I asked if you had followed the setup proicedure. Did you scan? What was the result?

Yes, I have it all connected, I can access the menu page and scroll through all of the menu, its just when I opt to watch the programmes I am left with a coloured screen and a tiny red box in the corner
