my Sanyo HDP-MM3000 6GB won't go past the 'waiting' screen anymore!! help!?

my Sanyo HDP-MM3000 6GB won't go past the 'waiting' screen anymore!! help! When i switch it on, or connect it to my pc or even plug it in to charge it just goes to the 'clockface waiting' screen & stays there! I tried the little button on the back but nothing!
any ideas?
