faulty Central Locking System vauxhall Omega 1999 2 L?

The buttons on my key operate all door and boot locks except the driver's door, which has just stooped responding.
I have changed battery in key but still no joy.
Please advise if I can fix myself?

either the doot lock actuator is up the swanny or there will be a broken wire in the door shut loom
