I have Diplomat 8512 Washing Machine it powers On but not starting when placed onto a wash cycle. I assume there must be a fault with the programmer (I have had a similar problem with a dishwasher which was under warranty and it was the programmer the engineer said). How can i determine it definitely is the programmer? Also it was not fully spinning the clothes properly.

Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

If the door doesn't lock at opens after switching in then the door interlock may be buggered, these cost about £12 in total. you take the top off the washer to fit and remove the 2 screws from the washer inside the door where the door lock is.
