How can I remove Adware_GTDOWN?

I have used a website to scan my PC for viruses, spyware and malware. Something called ADWARE_GTDOWN was found, but the website doesn't seem to be able to remove it.

Is there any way to do this manually or any other utility I could use?

From what I can figure, this is used by Dell to send info. when you run Dell Support tools - such as "Check Now". It's operation is disguised and hidden away in 3 .exe files of the format A00#####.exe (GTDownDE_87.ocx). You'll find it in the folder i386 used for restoring Dell factory settings etc. I began tracking this file down, when I noticed an A00#####.exe being moved during a defrag. It's seems to be completely harmless in it's 'natural' state. Personally, I've put it in quarantine incase some bright spark decides it's an entry point.

I found Adware_GTDOWN on my PC and ran the free scan (link below), it had no problem removing it...Good Luck!

Run this scan a couple of times to find all infections:
