fit an old plug in plug hole so you cant acccidentally set
strimmer on fire. fit plug in plug cap and test for spark
it should be blue. if your machine is very old then it probably
has dirt on the CB points which should be carefully cleaned.
most strimmers will have electronic ignition which can fail.
try diconnecting the stop switch which can fail too
if the electronic ignition has failed it isnt usually worth fitting
a new unit due to the high cost
