Potterton Kingfisher pilot light keeps going out?

Moved into house some 5 years ago which had a potterton kingfisher boiler and the pilot would go out very intermittently and was never really a problem, i'd always put it down to the wind i could hear whistling down the flue (built into the chimney). Around a week ago work was done on a leaking main directly outside the house, but didn't affect anything on this property, however the people across the road were cut off for a short while. Since the work was completed the pilot light has gone out at least six or seven times a day. It has been like this for a few days now. Grateful for any advice that can be given. Thanks
