how do i enter the vin code into a citroen xsara picasso cd radio

There is no code for the radio. The ECU on the car transmits information to radio to work.

The radio is programmed to your cars ecu.

If you have put another radio in from another picasso it will need programming by main dealer.

This is carried out by a dealer and it will cost you arond £25 they have to enter the number so the unit is locked in to that chassis number of your vehicle and will not work in any other vehicle unless you pay again.They have the soft in there computer to entre the number,dealer only and will not let the info go.Other way round it, buy a new unit Citroen unit basic no mp3 and cannot play cd compressed on a computer
