I need to replace the belt that drives the "self-propulsion" on the Craftman Eager-1 Lawn mower 6.75 HP. I'm just not sure if I have to remove the blade or what. Please Help.

I know this sounds odd, but the easiest way to replace that belt is to unbolt the engine from the deck to allow it to be moved forward far enough to change the belt.
